The objective of the education section of myeducentre is to assist individuals interested in acquiring education abroad in achieving their goals. This objective fits within the broader vision and mission of myeducentre. Through the education section, we would endeavour to bring together, prospective Nigerian / African students interested in studying in institutions abroad and current students / graduates of those or similar institutions. We would create an online interactive platform where prospective students would be able to obtain information and insight that would help in achieving their educational dreams. Prospective students would also be able to interact and engage experienced current or former students in meaningful discussions through myeducation forums. Alongside, they would be able to share ideas and information with peers having similar goals. Myeducation section has sub-sections for under-graduate and post-graduate studies. Post-graduate Studies Pursuing post-graduate studies in any field is not a decision that should be taken lightly. It is important to plan ahead to increase the chances of success. A number of prospective students who want to pursue post-graduate studies abroad have not taken the time to research and source for the right information that would enable them to plan and prepare in order to actualise their dreams. Many are not familiar with entrance examinations like the GMAT, GRE (Subject Test and General Test), TOEFL and IELS which are pre-requisites for study in the US. Unfortunately, an understanding of the process and requirements for studying in any particular country is a must to actualise the goal of studying there. Still yet, other students are not familiar with important considerations such as application deadlines and the academic calendar e.g. fall, summer, and spring semesters. Sourcing for funds is another big challenge facing many prospective students.
